Cedrics is committed to protecting your privacy and security. This policy explains how and why we use your personal data, to ensure you remain informed and in control of your information. From May 2018 we will ask you to "opt-in" for marketing communications. This is due to a change to the rules which govern how we can communicate with you and a new regulation on personal data (the General Data Protection Regulation) that came into force in May 2018. Therefore we are introducing a new approach that relies on you giving us your consent about how we can contact you. This means you'll have the choice as to whether you want to receive these messages and be able to select how you want to receive them (email, phone, or post). You can decide not to receive communications or change how we contact you at any time. If you wish to do so please contact Cedrics by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org or writing to Cedrics at The White Swan, Misterton, Crewkerne, Somerset, TA18 8NR or telephoning 01460 72592 or unsubscribing from our newsletter. We will never sell your personal data, and will only ever share it with organisations we work with where necessary and if its privacy and security are guaranteed. The Personal Data collected by us will include your name, e-mail address and Town/Village. HOW DO WE PROTECT YOUR PERSONAL DATA? When you input any Personal Data into the Website or request services from us, we use appropriate physical, electronic and managerial security measures to try to prevent that Personal Data from being accessed by unauthorised persons and to ensure that you may input Personal Data safely. This means that sometimes we may ask for proof of identity before we disclose Personal Data to you. If you post comments or reviews on our Facebook pages or Twitter feeds, it is entirely up to you what Personal Data you disclose. In doing so, you freely give us consent to hold that data and to publish it on the Internet. We may also ask your consent to publish your comments in other marketing materials and press releases that we publish.
